Tiger Corporation JNP-0720 4-Cup Rice Cooker

Pros: worked with brown rice, does not take up too much space, cooks half pot fine
Cons: a little pricey.. but in the long run i think it will be worth it

after much reading on-line i took the dive and purchased this rice cooker. I cook brown rice and from many of the horror stories i am happy to say this cooker performed well... no spills, no spurting... and the rice was quite good. I did not pre-soak the rice.. it was short grain brown. I have only made one pot... a combo of brown rice, water, chicken stock, raisins, salt & pepper and a little olive oil... and it came out great.
