I bought mine in Jan of 2003 and it has been working great. battery life is 3 hours and works fine. I use mine alot for traveling and also use it in my truck, where I have it hooked up to my stereo( so kool when its turned up with a music dvd or a explosion scene) using the audio out feature and also have a tv tuner hooked up to it to watch local channels on it. The screen is the best I have seen on any portable dvd player yet. The 9.5 inch screen is perfect size to see from a few feet away. It has a nice feature of flipping the screen upside down so you can stick it in the car visor and watch it like a flip down. It also has 2 headphone jacks and progressive scan for home viewing.
