Pros: Mostly aluminium or alloy components, good build quality, comfortable ride, good brakes, nice gear change.
Cons: Pathetic bell, saddle painful until broken in, steel handlebar, no mudguards or other accessories.

Pros: “Hybrid” design can withstand daily, city-sidewalk riding, yet is pretty fast. Generally very easy-to-shift.
Cons: Very rarely, chain can come loose from front sprocket. (But it's easy to reposition.)
