Pros: Gorgeous, powerful commuting and touring bike, balances bag and rider well. Cons: Higher price than many bikes, although worth every penny!
Like the rest of us, I have a very limited budget, a need to save gas, and to get my fun whereever I can. In comes my tax return this year, which I happily spent at a reputable bike shop (Pasadena Cyclery) and the Trek 7300, a gorgeous workhorse hybrid ...
Pros: light, easy to ride Cons: springer dog walker doesn't fit!
This review is for a Lady's Trek 7300. I am a total novice at bike riding. My last bike was more than 18 years ago from Target or Walmart. I was on the market looking for an easy riding, trouble-free bike around the park or our community sidewalks. I ...
Pros: Light Frame, great wheels, good components, pretty good seat Cons: The disk brakes are a little overkill for the flat terrain
First - I am writing a review because I felt it was my time to give back to this great service that I have referenced so many times for so many things. Thanks to those who have contributed to help make my shopping decisions clearer. I encourage others ...
Pros: Light, good front shock, comfy saddle and seat shock, great brakes, Bontrager tires very nice Cons: Rear derailler doesn't shift on one click (takes 2)
I recently bought a 2003 Trek 7300 on clearance from a local high end Trek bike store. The bike is very nice with an Insync front shock, seat post shock, twist shifters and a rear Deore derailleur. I do a lot of local commuting with my bike and added ...
I went looking around for a bike to get some exercise. I found Trek to be more comfortable than Specialized and have more quality equipment than Raleigh or Schwinn. I haven't owned a bike in 10 years. I finally found the Trek 7300 at about $460. They...
Pros: Pretty paint job Cons: Just about everything else
I bought two of these nice looking bicycles with in the last month and Im happy to report that one of them is working well. Unfortunately for the good people at Trek, im not going to be writing about that one. The one that is having the multitude of...
Pros: value weight wheels componets looks Cons: seat
I bought this bike to get in some pedeling when I am not trashing the dirt trails .And i am pleased to say it is one of the best investments in a bike I ever made.It is both comfortable as well as fast as well as beeing very light.I have put around 600...
Pros: Good components and value on a medium price bike Cons: velour type seat sticks to some clothing
My wife is very pleased with her new Trek 7300. She upgrade from a Raleigh Mountain bike as we ride paved and good dirt roads for exercise and fun. The quality of the the components and the suspension make this bike a much improved ride both in...
Pros: durable, resilient, sleek appearence, cheap Cons: does not have full suspension (as to be expected from a $479 bike)
In my opinion the Trek 7300 is the best low budget bike on the market, and at $479 it IS one of the cheapest. When I went to the store I was looking to buy a bike that would be good for mountain biking and for road riding. As soon as I entered the...
Pros: Lightweight frame, click-shifters, seating position, shimano components. Great value comparitively. Cons: Cheap pedals, would like to see an adjustale handlebar.
A great value when compared for a few dollars more than the 7200fx while sharing many similarities to the 7500fx($175 more).
I needed a bike that would be good for roads and light trails. I did not like the comfort style hybrids with the front shock. I get more power without. The 7300fx shares the same light alum. frame as the 7500 and has many upgraded components over the 7200fx. The ride is firm and fast and should prove a great bike for anyone that doesn't need a true road bike.
