Trek T2000 Tandem

Pros: Great ride, fast and light.
Cons: None to report
We have had our Trek T2000 tandem since the summer. My son who is 9 years old is my stoker. Our rides on the weekends are about 50 miles in a hilly terrain. The T2000 is a responsive fun to ride bicycle. It feels quite a bit lighter than our old tandem (Santana Sovereign with steel frame) and we feel it is lot easier on the climbs. The bike has Ultegra components and XTR rear derailleur. The brakes are Avid Shorty. We have had some brake squealing which the bike store took care of. In our opinion it is a great value and the ride quality is no less than the more expensive bikes.
