Truly Pic 'N Roll Roll HD900 (4 GB) MP3 Player

Pros: MP3, Video,Bookreader, FM tuner, voice recorder and games in the size of a pager!
Cons: Bland color washes out in sunlight, Internal battery non replaceable, Voice recorder sound marginal.

I bought the unit for $150 with a $50 rebate, Quite impressed with all the features, The sound is excellent but volume is limited, Plays mp3,wma,ogg so all the basics are covered. Videos are watchable (2 hr movie converted to ~220 mb with included software, Ripping with included software was easy as well. Books are readable although id like the ability to read html books AS WELL AS TEXT. voice record isnt really usable as the internal HD noise makes the sound marginal at best, plays videos smoothly but since it encodes at 13 frames it can be a bit choppy with fast transition movies, Slow to start tho at about a minute to buffer but plays fine after that, Had quite a few people looking over my shoulder at the airport.
Screen color a bit bland. the USB link and host Cable is bulky, FM radio seems good, not a function i plan on using. a great upgrade path Since it runs on HD software makes it easy to upgrade. Battery is internal and makes replacement seem chancy, NO SD/MMC though some of the specs say its included.
