Pros: Quality, smooth ride, very solid, looks good in the room Cons: shorter stride than some but can be adjusted at the redals
I have owned the C6 for 2 months. It is a fine elliptical trainer. When I was shopping for one there were no reviews for this model. I had heard about the Consumers Digest article but could not find it. I have used a lot of gym machines and up ...

Pros: Solid piece of equipment. Looks great. Completely silent. Cons: Heavy. Weighs over 160lbs. Hard to carry upstairs. Knees hit water bottle.

Best Value in Ellipticals
by bryan58 ,Mar 06 '04
Pros: Smooth performance, plenty of workout programs, accurate heart rate monitor and solid compact design Cons: User limit is 245 lbs., squeaking noise (fixed by adding washers per manufacturer)
I tried several elliptical trainers ranging in price from $699 to $2500 but this one stood out as the best value for the money. The simple to program console provides you with a wide range of workouts and intensity levels that would suit any fitness level, and the Polar heart rate monitor is very accurate. I primarily use this machine as cross training for my road cycling, but it is well suited for everyday workouts as well. Solid construction, adjustable steps heights, and smooth - quiet performance are its strengths and I would highly recommend it to those in search of an elliptical machine.
