Easiest polish I have ever used

by psychotronic , May 28 '07
Pros: Very easy to apply and remove, bottle lasts a long time.
Cons: At ~$16 a bottle, the stuff is expensive. Needs several applications.
I bought this because most waxes and polishes have some sort of abrasive or polishing compound in them, even when listed as clear coat safe. My car's finish is very clean with minimal scratches and swirl marks so I wanted to try an easy to apply ...

Knocks my socks off

by dtskiles , Sep 25 '06
Pros: Too many to list. But easier and more effective.
Cons: Cost. It's $16 for a bottle at Target.
I am cursed with a love of dark-colored cars. My wife, who is smarter than I am, owns a very practical silver car. This means I have to accept the white-freckled-hood where every piece of gravel has hit my car on the road, only to be filled in with ...

Good Product (in the Right Hands)

by ezdrive , Jul 24 '07
Pros: Ease of application and remove, nice shine, leaves the surface clean and free of dust
Cons: Best results after two coats
I am old Meguiar's Product user. I still believe they make better products, but I was very pleased with the TW Ice Line. I have a dark blue Audi A6 with clear coat. I keep this car very clean with regular washings and frequent detailing using Meguiar's ...

So Easy a Neanderthal Could Do It

by p0sseman , Sep 06 '09
Pros: Polish on; very easy. Polish off; easy. Piece of cake, Myagi san.
Cons: Can't brag to my fellow Corvette owners about slaving for hours cleaning and polishing mine.
I have used Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Polish on both my 2006 Corvette and my 1998 Intrepid. The Corvette had been polished with another product before using the Ice but the Intrepid had never had polish applied before.I bought the Ice because of a TV ...

Best polish ever

by pete2008 , Jan 28 '09
Pros: Ease of appication, look of the vehicle (results!)
Cons: A little pricey, but considering the results--I'll spend it.
I am terrible at keeping my vehicles waxed or polished simply because of the hassle and the seemingly limited results for the amount of time spent.  Well, no more.  With Turtle Wax’s Ice it only took about 30 minutes for me to completely ...

Turtle Wax Ice (Liquid)

by b1kerdude , Jul 16 '07
Pros: Very easy to use, easy on, easy off, nice shine
Cons: None that I know of
Wax was real easy to use, easy on easy off. I think I made it harder than necessary by applying it too heavy (sponge applicator included). Had to buff 3 times for smooth gloss. 1 wipe off and 1 buff is all your supposed to need. Light quick work ...

Ice is Nice

by kbuzbee , Oct 03 '07
Pros: Easy to use, nice shine, good value
Cons: It may not last as long Zaino but it's so easy, who cares?
Cost - $16 @ Target My car - a white '02 Jetta. Always looks good, never looks great. I don't know what exactly I expect it to look like but after spending hours detailing it with washes, clay bars and Zymol Concourse I expected "more".... I mean, it ...

For the Perfectionist!

by rjdeleon , Feb 10 '08
Pros: Too many pros to count. I'm sold.
Cons: Why not bring the price down anyway :-)
I have a 2008 Chev Silverado (Dark Blue) and a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer (Champagne Gold). I cannot believe what great results the Ice Liquid Polish provides. I bought it based on the responses submitted here. I thought the $16 price was expensive, but I ...

Very, Very Happy
by lyndongolden ,Jun 01 '09
Pros: Ease of use, apply to all painted, chromed, and plastic surfaces.
Cons: Streaks & smearing visable after removal. Need second coat?
This product gave my (silver) 2008 GMC Sierra an excellent shine.  I applied it to every exterior surface except windows...I even did the wheels, and Ice gave all the "rough" matte black plastic trim and weatherstripping a fresh, new look...much like Armor-All would.  The ease of applying and removing Ice is simply phenomenal...I am 100% satisfied.  I do not mind paying $16 for a bottle of this wonderful stuff.  I'm also extremenly happy with the Ice interior protectant.

Ice
by netspectre101 ,Jun 17 '08
Pros: Easy on, Easy off.
Cons: Little pricey.
Easy on. Easy off. No telltale white streaks on any black trim.
I have used this on one front quarter panel and other waxes on the other and I see no difference.

not that great
by aa1872 ,Jun 26 '07
Pros: nice shine
Cons: it did not come off easy. It takes forever to dry.
I tried it 4 or 5 times and have found that it does not preform as a wax should. It would not remove water spots once the the car was dry. It takes forever to dry. I had to use regular wax to get the car clean of all spots and then I would apply the ICE to get it's protection and shine.

Best product I have ever used
by tlippy ,May 25 '09
Pros: Easy to apply. Very long lasting.  Inexpensive when amortized over 5 applications
Cons: NONE
#1.  Five applicaions for $3 each?  Who can whine about the price!
#2.  Complain about it not drying!  Did any of you cry babies read the instructions?  You don't let it dry,  Just wipe it off.
#3.  I have Griots for my motorcycle and quit using it after I ICE'd.
#4.  I used to use my Porter Cable and buff Griots wax on - then buff it off and the finish was no better/worse than ICE.
#5.  Search the net - wax is not GOOD for today's car finishes.
#6.  ICE does best when applied in direct sun and easier, if possible, to remove.
#7.  I applied ICE to my Subaru in November 2008 and today May 2009 the water still beaded.  And that's after a Central Oregon winter where they spray calcium chlorid solution on the roads.

Wasted Money and Time
by danman0 ,Jul 26 '09
Pros: NO PRO's....$17.00 in the trash
Cons: WELL...Its in the trash
This is a waste.....the wash and wax car wash from concentrate works better than this stuff. Its very expensive. May as well use the NU-Finish I have been using for years.

ICE, no good
by gm6846 ,Aug 08 '09
Pros: Easy to apply.
Cons: Does not dry and cannot be wiped to develope a shine, leaves horrible streaks.
I tried Turtle Wax ICE on two different vehicles and was very disappointed.  The product does not dry and is impossible to wipe dry, leaving horrible streaks.  The instructions state to apply lightly then let dry to a haze, about 3 to 5 minutes.

Well, after ICE would not dry in the shade  I parked my car in the hot South Florida sun for awhile and it still would not dry.  I ended up waxing the car with a paste and using a buffer.  I spent a lot of time trying to get ICE to work ( I could have waxed two cars), but the product could not be wiped dry to develop a shine.

Unless in a million-to-one-shot I bought a "bad bottle" the product did not work for me and as such did not work according to the manufacturer's instructions.

great for dark colors
by dalfrednix ,May 22 '08
Pros: easily applied, easily removed, use very little product
Cons: expensive
this product applies very easily and wipes off after 5 minutes with NO white residue or powder. Works well on dark colors and where there are stone chips no white residue will form later on.
