Pros: Easy application, no white residue, economical, beautiful shine everywhere it goes Cons: Don't like the smell or greasy residue, improved durability would help
I have been using this Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Polish for over 3 years. It is the only polish that I have used on my white 2006 Prius. Recently I was told that my car still looks brand new and I can attribute that directly to this polish.I ...
Pros: Beautiful Shine Water Beads Up Very Nicely "Removes" Deep, Narrow Scratches Cons: Lots of Work to Remove Streaking, Possibly Impossible for Some Requires Multiple Coats
The other reviews I've read make it sound like this is one of the easiest products in existance. While it is true that you can apply in the sun, not worry about rubber and plastic, and not worry about white residue (all of which make the produce ...
Turtle Wax Ice Synthetic Polish by quincydubois ,May 18 '09
Pros: Application is as easy as spreading on a light oil with a sponge! Cons: Leaves a haze and streaks on some areas, discoloration of paint on other areas.
The product left a haze (if the paint were skin I would describe it as psoriasis) on areas of the wing of my airplane. Worse, I could not get the haze off! Even after a re-wash! Had to use a cleaner-polish to get it off. Additionally, it left areas of streaking and discoloration, not bad, just a noticeable difference in color in some areas. The ad hype (on TV) shows a guy spreading the product on and simply wiping it off and saying that it leaves no white residue. The packaging says 'No white residue on plastic' and makes no mention of white residue on the paint. On the back of the package below the directions (which says wash and dry vehicle, pour product on sponge, spread on vehicle, let dry to haze, remove excess polish) you will find a "Note: If streaking occurs, wipe with a damp cloth before removing with microfiber towel." No, I did not find that to be the case. I believe this product would work fine on a finish that has a good coating of wax. But, then, what would be the point? Just a clean-up product? At $17?
Turtle Wax "Ice" THE worst product ever. by woodenworks ,Nov 09 '09
Pros: NONE. NONE. NONE. Cannot give one Pro answer. Cons: Super hard to get off, is oily,WAY over priced. Very unhappy.
Absolutely THE worst car wax I have ever used. It goes on like WD-40, leaves an oily film on your hands, and takes for ever to dry. It wouldn't even get rid of water spots! Getting it off is almost impossible. By FAR the HARDEST wax to take off I have EVER used. The bottle is in the trash. What a waste of good money. How could it have gotten on the market will remain a mystery to me. Terrible stuff.
