Configuring with Windows Mobile Devices
by blackjack123 ,Dec 27 '07
Pros: Small, accurate, holds good battery charge. Cons: Difficult to use with Windows without third party software
I purchased this unit to work with my Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone ( Samsung BlackJack ). I found I needed a software package to make the BT359 work with my phone www.celligent.com ). Once the configuration was complete I was able to download and use Google Maps with my phone. I am thrilled with the performance of the BT359, it seems capable of acquiring satellites in almost any outdoor situation. Indoors is a bit dicey depending on the type of building you are in.
The device is small, fits on my keychain, holds a good charge and is very sensitive for the price range. The only negative with the BT359 is the fact that when the battery becomes low the performance is affected. When I am driving I use the mobile charger and dont have to worry about it.
