Pros: Well-balanced blend of rock and pop. Cons: A couple downer tracks
Another review seeking to answer the question, can a 50-something rocker find happiness in music of the 90's and beyond? I'm happy to say that The Verve Pipe's 2001 CD, Underneath gives me reason to hope. This group of Lansing, Michigan ...

Pros: Great pop/rock sound, excellent voices and music. Brian's cute in a scruffy sort of way. Cons: Nope, none. I like all of it and love most of it.

Pros: great lyrically, fun hooky songs, perfect balance of art and fun Cons: RCA didn't promote this album
as judged by the success (or lack thereof) of TVP's self titled cd in '99, i would think that no one knows or cares that this album exists...but shame on them, cuz this album rocks! you are SO missing out if you don't at least listen to this album once....

Pros: Great played loud Cons: Lacks diversity
This album begs to be played loud, like your favorite grunge record. Everyone remembers their hit "The Freshman". This album is an attempt for them to say they're not just a one hit wonder band. On The Verve Pipe, Brian Vander Ark, frontman and main...
