Pros: Slim design; Cutting edge technology
Cons: Flashing red light; Lightweight base is easy to knock around

Summary: Recently I purchased a new phone for my household with the primary goal in mind of having an expandable system. I purchased the Uniden TRU9480 model because I knew it could be expanded to accommodate up to ten handsets and also because it already ... read more

Pros: it has the 1/8" mini jack

Summary: I have this model extension attached to two separate systems and they work excellently. Voice quality is very good, even with difficult cellular phone connections. The hands free option works with ease and is quite clear. Reception is very good with ... read more

  • Not "compatible"

    Sep 7, 2006 by

    Pros: Cheap add on handset
Cons: Not fully compatible with the base stations claimed. Incredibly rude customer service reps.

Summary: Though this add-on handset is advertised as working with a wide variety of Uniden base stations, it only fits the charger base of the latest 900 series phones. We bought it to expand a system based on the TRU8865, and now have to keep track of what ... read more
