Pros: She sounds reinvigorated and ready to turn the page and move on. Cons: There isn't that special song that people will remember the album for.
Summary: It took her seven years, but Whitney Houston is back, and if you believe the themes of her new album, I Look To You, she's put her problems in her rear view mirror. The first thing that should be talked about is her legendary voice. It's ... read more

Pros: Raspy Yet New Soulful Voice, Mostly Successful In All Parts Cons: "Call You Tonight," Some Minor Problems But Eh.

Pros: Whitney injects these songs with power and believability. Contemporary without trying too hard. Cons: "A Song for You" is a travesty. Shame on whoever green-lit this mess.
Summary: No one loves anything more than a good phoenix-rising-from-the-ashes story. Someone who's risen to the top, then crashed to the lowest of lows only to rise back up again. Case in point: the resurrection of Whitney Houston. Once America's ... read more
