Pros: Fun; inexpensive; has a stabilizer bar. Good price for a well made piece. Cons: Safety concerns; not a complete workout.
I have seen Rebounders with screens around them for safety but I had the opportunity to use the Urban Rebounder which is a bit different. What is a rebounder: Put quite simply it is a small trampoline. Perhaps it is the memory of the broken ...
Pros: Fun, easy to use and store. Cons: Not a complete workout, and my ankles were very sore at first.
Even though I have a fitness club membership, I am always on the prowl for interesting infomercial exercise equipment. That way, when I don't feel like going to the gym, I still have no excuse not to exercise. To give you an idea of my taste, my ...
Pros: portable, space saving, quiet, fun Cons: bad on bladder, tall people may not have enough leg room
I was in need of exercise. I had recently become a foster parent to a new baby and was unable to go to my gym, so I was looking something I could use at home. I dont have a lot of extra space either. During a 3:00 AM feeding I was watching ...
Pros: none Cons: hard to fold, hard on the mammaries, not for all types as claimed
I watched several infomercials before finally ordering my rebounder from the Canadian "TheShopping Channel". It did arrive very quickly but TSC is known for their fast shipping. I then started to set it up. It was very hard to unfold/open. When I ...
Pros: Would be fun if already in decent shape. Cons: Hard on the bust, difficult to fold and unfold.
OK I admit it. My name is Bugg and I'm an infomercial junkie. I love infomercials and when I find a product that I really dig, I will watch that infomercial every time I find it while channel surfing. Well the Urban Rebounder (UR) is no exception. It ...
Pros: The dvds are very good. Cons: shabby mat construction, a very short warranty compared to other quality rebounders on-line.
I had this rebounder for a year and was very happy with the workout. Just 10 days after the one year warranty expired, I began to see the mat start to unravel! It now has 4 quarter sized holes in it! After calling and e-mailing the company, they would ...
Pros: Fun, easy workout, easy on the joints. Well-built piece of equipment. Cons: Yep, does a number on the bladder. "Go" prior to workout.
I did some research before purchasing the Urban Rebounder after I saw it on the infomercials. I liked the idea of a good workout for my 43 years that was easy on the joints. After about two months of using it, I have found that I am very well pleased ...
Pros: A fun bounce, Good workout for the calves. Aerobic - Easier on the Joints. Cons: Big, heavy - takes up lots of space. Not too portable.
I bought this product as it looked like it would be a good, easy, fun cardio program for me because I have bad knees. I liked on the TV ad that it folded up and was portable. However, the product you get is very heavy. Do not expect to carry it around in ...
Pros: portable, great workout, increases balance, lymphatic drainage, lots of fun with different workouts. Cons: small bounce area, have to get your feet conditioned, sometimes skirt gets caught when folding
I wanted something convenient and fun to do in my home. I use to be a high impact aerobics instructor but had gained a lot of weight since then, like 90 lbs! I have used my Urban Rebounder for 6 months and I have lost weight, slimmed inches and ...
Pros: Great workout, affordable, fun Cons: instructor a bit annoying, some initial pain in feet/heels when beginning the workout.
I got my Urban Rebounder about 6 months ago and I really enjoy it. I was looking for something different and i saw a reveiw for this online that really got me interested. Plue, its a lot cheaper than a treadmill that would become a clothes ...
Pros: No tools needed for assembly, which is very easy. Fun, effective workout. Cons: Video workouts do not offer modified levels within a single workout.
First, this is not your run-of-the-mill mini trampoline. I have owned a Bodyflex trampoline for 3 years and rarely got past 5 minutes on it before getting off. I just did not like the feel of it. I decided to try the Urban Rebounder because it is ...
Pros: An amusing at-home workout alternative. Cons: VERY heavy & awkward to fold; terrible DVD (poor quality & phony people).
I have long wanted a mini-tramp and was not disappointed by the quality and sturdiness of Urban Rebounder. I felt that it was supportive, safe to use and never bothered to set up the stabilizing bar. I watched the instructional DVD to understand how to use the rebounder effectively. Unfortunately the routines provided were beyond annoying to me - facial expressions and fake enthusiasm of the users in particular were a major non-motivator.
Can definitely feel it in my legs and abs. Be sure to wear supportive garments (for women, a good sports bra is a necessity and compression shorts are helpful) and take time to warm up before being the workout, especially stretching leg and back muscles. I prefer to bounce in bare feet rather than in shoes.
Works well for in front of the TV exercise and provides a fun workout choice in between other activities that I do.

Pros: Easy, sturdy & FUN Cons: Be careful trying to fold the unit. You may fall over.
This is, quite honestly, the only piece of exercise equipment I've purchased from an infomercial that I actually like to use and I use this faithfully. It's a lot of fun.
I use the unit about 4-5 times a week. It is very sturdy. I have lost about 40 pounds since August when I got the unit. The UR is still going strong. My only problem is that because I have big feet, my heels sometimes catch the skirt edge, so the skirt begins to fray. Simple duct tape will fix that for you. Other than that, this unit is still a godsend. I use it 4-5 times a week now for 30 minutes minimum (I usually go 45 minutes straight). For those who have problems with their feet while using, maybe you should try a shoe thats not so snug. I use a basketball shoe with a zipper closure instead of laces. If I try to use any of my other sneakers, my feet will ache after awhile.
Pros: Doesn't take up much room. Cons: Painful on the feet and calves. Don't even try this if you have balance problems.
Absolutely not for someone with a bad back either. I can't use it more than 5 minutes without my calves and my feet killing me. Don't even have anything in your bladder or you will loose it. Not for me and it's going back. I am 52 and this is NOT for all ages as it says on the video. I don't dare let go of the bar. I can't see ever taking it off if I were to keep it.
Here's the good news: Seems much better than jogging. Can feel it working on belly fat. Provides an alternative in the winter when I can't ride my bike outside. Bouncing in many different ways and in different directions and locations is appealing to my ADHD psyche.
Bad news: Immediately activates my bladder. Very heavy. You won't want to fold and store. You might lose a finger. You'll need a place to roll it - like the garage. Videos are annoying - NO ONE smiles that much - especially when working out!!! HA Haven't had or used it enough to see the wear and tear, but by then I will have probably moved on to something else. ;-)
