This ViewSonic VX924 is the Flatscreen I have owned which may be surprising since I am going to school for IT. As a gamer though, I've alway been skeptical of turning to the LCD scene for a new monitor. I loved my WUXGA 1900x1200 screen on my laptop and my video games look awesome on there (Call of Duty, Half Life 1 and 2, Counter Strike: Source). I figured this screen would look great compared to my laptop and I was RIGHT!
The monitor seems alittle too bright at times and alittle too dark other times. I am not a fan of the pitch black scenes in DVD's where the edges of the monitor seem alittle grayish. The only other con I could think of is the low resolution for a 19" monitor.
As for the Pro's, this monitor is much better than my CRT when it comes to brightness while playing Counter Strike.

View sonic hits again. This is a really really good LCD monitor. I been waiting a long time for a LCD like this.
I used to be a CRT user (for 3d modeling, rendering and video) but VX924 works great.

It has DVI and VGA inputs, and 3ms are incredible for advanced gamers. (doom 3, half life, etc). One more thing, ....in this LCD, black is black.

Id really recomended for any kind of users.

i know viewsonic's been around for a long time & it's speak's for it self!..i jumped on this vx924 & dumped my gateway 22' crt.the photos from a digital cam are flawless on this lcd.

Great product that is very stylish. It looks great and the picture quality is superb. Tried it with F.E.A.R. and COD2 and it looked great. the response time is out of this word compared to the competition
