Pros: None Cons: Pests; customer service

Excellent Hotel!

Pros: Beautiful property, rooms, amenities, location, excellent service Cons: Location for some.
We stayed at the Vacation Village in April of '05. I can't say enough good things about this property! Check in was a breeze. We were late, having driven all the way from Michigan, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was amazing, a one-bedroom suite with a full kitchen, living area, balcony and whirlpool tub. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The pool was gorgeous, large and flowing with a large waterfall and hot tub nearby. The resort is convenient to Miami and Fort Lauderdale, as well as the Everglades. It's super close to the Sawgrass Mills Mall, which we only saw about a quarter of! We even took a day trip into the Keys. The location could be a downer for some; you definitely need a car in this area as cabs and public transportation is scarce. Be sure to visit the downtown area and don't miss the cheeseburgers and milkshakes at Cheeburger!!!
