HP VL400 Vectra The closely guarded secret of upgrading the processor or not.
by truckrdude ,Feb 21 '07
Pros: Great case design. The 933mhz processor is quick and responsive, even under XP. Cons: The only draw back I find is the 512mb memory limit.
I agree with hephe about HP's Vectra design and features, but one thing I'm finding out as I read through reviews and technical manuals it seems that no one, not even HP gives information about processor upgrades. I'm finding out that the manuals provided by HP do not cover this portion of the computer. Hephe don't worry though you can upgrade your os to win xp because that is what I loaded on this system and it runs and functions perfectly.
