Cons: Kept me awake!

I took NyQuil for the first time a couple of nights ago and it kept me awake! I felt "medicated" but I was AWAKE. Like, no blinking staring at the TV awake.

I talked to my mother and she said she had the same effects when she tried it. So, I guess it can affect people different ways.

As for the relief from symptoms, I would have to say it is about average. I was still coughing a little and felt congested. I don't think I'll try it again for me.

On a side note, my husband swears by it and sleeps like a baby whenever he is sick and takes it.
