Pros:Fantastic color & graphics; sharp text; easy to set up & tweak; great price. Cons:Difficult to attach swivel stand to monitor.
There are different schools of thought as to whether one should use a traditional monitor or go with the new flat panel type. This question will soon be resolved as flat panels become more perfected and their prices drop. I suspect that at some point in ...
Pros: Crisp & Clear Display, Vivid Color, Impressive Features & Resolution/Refresh Settings, GREAT PRICE! Cons: "PerfectFlat Display" claim is a bit misleading, but not altogether false.
I tend to live my life by the old standard, "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!" Unfortunately these days, you usually get a bit LESS than what you pay for. As I am a die hard electronics nut case, my wallet tends to be drawn to the higher end of the price ...
Pros: Great looks. Clear display. Requires moderate desk space. Simple Menu. Quality Affordable 19" Monitor. Cons: Has a flatscreen, but not a flat display. Isn't noticable for concern however.

Pros: Good picture, nice color, black color look svery good Cons: Detachable base a pain to install
I just recently bought a new PC from a small computer manufacturer and chose the ViewSonic G90fb as my monitor. I was replacing a Gateway VX920 Diamondtron NF on my old computer (sold the whole shebang to my brother).
Pros: Screen, ease of use Cons: size, this thing is huge
I just bought a G90fb from a guy at work. He is a big gamer and went with a larger monitor. I bought this unit for $50. He claims he bought it less than a year ago, There is not a scratch on it. I just begin to use digital for photography, using a Nikon D100 camera. I really like this monitor for this. The size is great for me, and the flat screen works without any problem. I would recommend this for anyone
Pros: Text clarity, resolutions, refresh rate, (almost) flat screen. Cons: Blacks could be deeper.
I had a cheapo $100 monitor at home, and my office bought me the G90fb. I liked it so much, I bought one for home. I had the monitors set up side-by-side at first, and the difference was amazing. The text and graphics on the G90 were so much better, I had to take down the old monitor. I don't think there's a better monitor in this price range.
Good Looks, Poor Performance, Horrible Support by cdaplus ,Oct 31 '05
Pros: Good looks, good price Cons: Poor performance, poor customer service
Purchased this ViewSonic G90fb 19" CRT based on other reviews. Much to my surprise the unit I received does not perform as expected. Monitor brightness varies depending on the windows that are open on the screen - when there is a large white window open (i.e. My Computer) the screen darkens and shrinks about 1 mm on all sides. When the white window is resized or minimized, the whole screen visibly lightens and expands. I can accept the fact that maybe this unit is defective, but the ViewSonic customer support is virtually non-existent: after trying for one week I have no response to 5 separate emails, the telephone support is inevitably 'busy assisting other customers' and 'experiencing high volume'. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise anybody against doing business with ViewSonic.
