Vigoro is another one of those "Home Depot" brands that was not to widely recognized before the HD began pushing it. This rose food is in peletized format. Some pellets are coated with a "polymerized time release coating" All I can say about this...

Did wonders for my rose bushes. I have had them for three years and this year they had about three times as many blooms on them! All I did was sprinkle a small handful around the base of each Rose bush. I tried to make sure not to leave a pile anywhere. It seemed to work alot better for the bushes than when I tried mixing it in the soil. I didn't even water the stuff in. Just let it rain some time during that next week and the bushes took off like crazy!
