    Pros: Spacious nicely-appointed rooms and lovely grounds with good access to all the DC sights.
    Cons: Mediocre desk responsiveness and no subway shuttle on weekends; rooms show high use.

    Summary: The Virginian Suites are a little tarnished in spite of the claim to have just been refurbished. The threadbare appearance of carpet on the steps in the lobby was clue number one, slightly dingy elevators was clue number two. Doorjambs in the room were ... read more
