I have been a regular diner at Vito's for over 15 years. The restaurant is dimly lit and separated into secluded tables or quiet booths placed far enough apart so that you can actually have a private conversation. This is something of a rarity in Los Angeles restaurants.
The wine list is extensive; the drinks are fairly priced and generously poured. Most importantly, the food is always the best Italian available anywhere in the city. Sure they have nightly specials and as you would expect, they use only the finest ingredients - but the prize at this restaurant is that they will happily accommodate any of your requests for just about anything that they have the ingredients for. Or just tell them to surprise you and you will be in for a special treat!
