Vivitar 19mm f/3.8 for Nikon AI

Pros: Solid feel, compact size, 97 degree coverage.

I use this lens on my Nikon FA which I've had for decades. Indoor and stadium shots make composition easy due to the 97-degree coverage. A 50mm works great most of the time but you often can't stand back far enough to capture what this lens can. Photos are sharp. The lens feels solid with its metal body and it is compact enough to carry in a coat pocket. I can easily take it along with a 50mm on outings without the need for a camera bag as I keep one lens on the camera and the other in a pocket. Focusing is very smooth and the aperture ring feels solid. The low price also makes this a very attractive lens. I enjoy using it a lot.
