Pros: Ready for viewing in 10 minutes. Intuitive GUI, built in cable routing loop Cons: Color choice, Unit thickness, Identification of input/output are labeled vertically
The Vizio L32 HDTV is amazing. I did allot of research in the 700-1100 range for 32" LCD TV's. The biggest thing for me was if I were to buy now was if I get HDTV ready or a unit with an HDTV ATSC tuner built-in. One or more HDMI ports. DVI Inputs, ...
Pros: Good image quality for price. Excellent EPG implementation Cons: Potential for incomplete channels when tuning HDTV over cable. Image lacking when used with computer
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: I saw this unit in Costco and was immediately draw by the low price: nearly 1/2 the cost of a name brand unit with what appeared to be similar features. I brought the unit home and was impressed with the ease of the manual. The ...
Pros: Very clear and crisp screen. Easy to install and set up. Cons: It takes a few seconds for the tv to come on and change channels
Our old Panasonic television died after 11 years. I was secrely happy when it did, which meant we could get a new set!We are members of COSTCO. We were checking out their television department and noticed this model. I had not ...
Pros: Price, Sound Cons: Picture quality, particularly color management
I broke my rule...I purchased before checking with epinions. Now I'm boxing up my purchase for a return. The Bottom Line If you want good picture quality, keep looking. The price is great, but the product disappoints. Why Did I Buy ...
Pros: Bright, crystal clear display with fast response times.
Light, slim, portable.
Lots of useful inputs. Cons: HDMI contrast lacking.
Cable input jacks hard to reach.
Slight green tint before calibration.
After mulling over the pros and cons of almost every type of display available, I decided on finally getting a nice LCD TV/Monitor. I checked the local stores, read the reviews and previews online and finally came to the conclusion that the Vizio L32 ...
Pros: Low Cost, speakers on bottom, full HDTV tuner, plenty of inputs Cons: Poor input selector, black level, weak HDTV tuner options
This is a great LCD HDTV. The emphasis being that it's a HDTV. To be able to get a HD tuner at this size is amazing. Key points in buying a new high definition television which should be the deciding factors in why you choose a certain set: 1) ...
Pros: Attractive, low-cost compared to other similar models, nice picture. Cons: Currently waiting for replacement due to failed repair...Day 17 & waiting.
My new 32" Vizio HDTV LCD gave me a great sense of satisfaction as I compared the price to other floor models. The picture compared well to side-by-side better known brands. The salesman at the warehouse club where we purchased it could not point to ...
Pros: Excellent documentation. Sharp, clear picture on HD. Plenty of inputs. Cons: Speakers are nothing special.
I got my Vizio from onsale.com as a refurb for $433. When I connected it to my Comcast cable box, I had to use the HDMI to DVI converter cable plus an audio cable. I had a picture but no sound from the HD input. I called customer service at 8:45 PM ...
Pros: Clear picture, flat screen, HD Cons: Not a known brand, not sure of future quality.
We recently moved and our new house had a built in tv cabinet. Our 52" bigscreen wouldn't fit, so we put it in the bonus room and searched for a tv for the family room. We saw this at Sam's and really loved it. It has all the features of more "name ...
Pros: None, really. The price is low, but it still costs too much. Cons: Horrible, time-wasting, aggravating service. Truly the worst buying experience of my life.
The TV itself is nothing great, in terms of quality. However, if Vizio did not have the worst customer service ever, the below-average quality would be made up for by the below-average price. However, they have the WORST customer service you could even ...
Pros: Good 32" LCD at a great price and it has hdmi input! Cons: Could use a second hdmi input.
I have had this tv for a few months now and overall I'm pretty happy with it. The picture is very bright and it really pops. No more having to close the curtains in the tv room on a sunny day! The picture is fairly sharp since it is LCD, but I would say ...
Vizio.... a brand to watch by phantastes ,Oct 28 '06
Pros: Price, picture, manuals and packing Cons: None so far
I've had this set for two weeks and couldn't be happier. I have to admit that in the store, the Sharp picture looked sharper. But after getting it home and tuning this set with AVIA, the picture is outstanding. I'm looking forward to going back to the store and tweaking the display (the settings should be about the same) and then comparing it again. I believe it will fare much more favorably.
Thought the overall color level was too saturated, Red, Green, and Blue levels were near spot on. No red push. The sharpness was set to 50 which was too high and had the opposite effect. Reducing it to 25 had the very noticeable effect of increasing the detail which I believe will bring it more in line with the Sharp.
Manuals and packing were top notch, A couple days after purchasing this set, I seen a Philip's 30" for $539.00, $160.00 less than the Vizio, but after seeing what this set is capable of, I'll stick with the Vizio.
Low Quality for Lower Cost by iguazu_cn ,Oct 30 '06
Pros: Low cost; competitive features; good bright picture Cons: Low quality; non-responsive customer service; poor picture quality in dark areas
I liked the TV while it worked. Unfortunately, that lasted only 2 weeks. After having the TV for only 2 weeks, within 15 minutes of watching TV, the picture would suddenly cut out and it wouldn't come back until the TV had been turned off for at least an hour. Called customer service and could never get through, so left a message and sent an email. Two and a half weeks later I still haven't heard back from them. I'd guess the problem could be easily remedied, but since I can't get customer service to respond, I'll never know.
Pros: Picture quality is excellent, colors are bright. Cons: Sometimes it takes a while to warm up, but usually not.
I was somewhat nervous at first because I hadn't heard of the Vizio brand. At 800 it was a great value (the price has gone down considerably). The picture quality is excellent. The colors are bright. The HD is superb. I don't see how you could get much better in a 32 LCD screen, but other brands cost a lot more. If you go with the Sony, you wouldn't be getting a much better product for the price premium you are paying.
Pros: Excellent Price for a Flat Screen TV Cons: Okay, not the "best" TV out there but certainly not bad for the price!!!
We needed a new TV for the master bedroom in our old farmhouse - we don't have huge rooms so a flat screen TV is a good space saver. We shopped around, budgeted approx. $2000 for it but then found the VIZIO 32" at Costco of all places - for $699 plus about $89 for the wall mount. It was easy to install, the picture quality is crisp, bright and clean & it's adjustable, so we can turn the screen to the left, right or pull it out from the wall. This is a good quality television - and the price right now if unbeatable when you consider how expensive High Definition Flat Screen TV's still are. I feel like this was a really good buy - we're very happy with it.
