purchased this unit because of the 3 handsets, comfortable for a medium size,3000ft. house, wanted one unit for office, one for master bedroom and one for tv room. Discovered it was not handsfree and no speakerphone.

Reasonable price, purchased these on sale at Canadian Tire since my previous cordless phones kept hanging up on everyone.
Not a bad set of phones, I would probably buy them again.  The battery life is very good compared to the GE phones that I've had in the past.

Found these phones on sale at Sam's to replace my multi-set phones that recently died after several years of use.  They are quite possibly the worst phones I've ever purchased, and would not recommend buying them for any reason.
When calling into an automated system you must press the buttons very slowly, there is a delay between pressing a button and when the handset sends the "tone".  Sometimes the button doesn't generate a tone even when pressing very slowly and giving delay time, so always verify account numbers, payment amounts, etc, if making payments with the phone!
You have to be right next to the base to get rid of the static.  The static is so bad that you cannot carry on a normal conversation unless you are right next to the base (might as well get a corded phone then).  Also, the handset's call-waiting tone is obnoxiously loud and will sometimes cut off the current phone conversation entirely!
In summary, these phones are horrible!  Horrible!  I would never recommend purchasing these phones to anyone.

I don't understand others complaints.I can only use 1 handset at a time,,i guess they need to party line (3 different people on 1 call)The phone is very easy to setup,and use.Sound is very crisp ,with no echoing. We couldn't be happier.
