Pros: Good blend of RTS and RPG, Blizzard's irrepressible sense of humor, and much more. Cons: Small armies, graphical clutter, seems slow, and facing identical enemies, game after game.
Blizzard, the gaming company from Irvine California, is famous for producing some of the best games on the market, particularly in the Real Time Strategy (RTS) genre. WarCraft III represents their newest effort along these lines, and if you're ...

Pros: Long, good looking, strategic yet accessible gameplay. Cons: Army size could be a bit bigger.
The main selling point for Warcraft3: Reign of Chaos is the fantastic story. It's not the easiest game ever created and when you lose a campaign battle for the fifth time, it's the fabulous story that compels you to keep playing. The story is also the ...

Pros: Really fun, cool story line, play online vs other people Cons: Addicting, and it takes up a lot of memory on your computer
I don't know what you other reviewers are talking about, but these games are great, I am here to defend them. Two years ago, I went to that store and bought these games for $40 after my cousin convinced me to. These games kick butt. They are very ...

A waste of time
by bigdingo ,Dec 26 '07
Pros: It was on the shelf, ready for purchase. Cons: Undisclosed pricing - a real scam.
I recently bought the Battlechest for Mac at BestBuy for my son and found out very quickly what a waste of money this game is. The game itself may be just fine, but you cannot load it up as a single user without signing up (at $15 per month) for the online gaming portion. The legalese in fine print buried in the copy on the outside of the box says nothing about single player use and its only reference to the online portion is that the first month's subscription is free. So the game will cost you almost $200 the first year and you CANNOT take it back. Merry Christmas.

One of the best games EVER!!!
by andrewhavoc ,May 07 '06
Pros: Story line, cinematics, strategy, and replay value. Cons: Not enough troops to command at a time.
Okay, It is not "THE" best game ever, but it is in the top 100. I bought this game because I wanted to find a strategy game that is set in a fantasy world. PLUS it just looked appealing. It is a perfect blend of RTS and RPG. The cinematics are very cool, and the story just doesn't get boring. The replay value is great, and the graphics are decent. The only thing that is remotely bad about this game, is the lack of the ability to have a large army. I would like to command at least 20 instead of 12 troops at a time. Overall, it is better than the Stronghold series, and it is much better than Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth.

A Word From The Wise
by magicalme77 ,May 26 '05
Pros: Good online and offline gameplay. Overall great game. Cons: Laggy connections on slower modems.
This game is by far one of the best real time strategies I have ever played. Blizzard has made a true masterpiece in this game. The function of heroes in the game greatly improves the quality of the game. Not only is it a Great single player campaign that actually has a plot and great characters but it is also an awsome online experience.
