Waring JEX450 850 Watts Juicer

Pros: Looks stylish.
Cons: Too big and bulky, does not extract juice well.

You'd think $150 should buy you a decent juicer. Well, this juicer did not in the least meet our expectations! The juice was too pulpy, you could almost chew it! The pulp, on the other hand, was too juicy, and we had to put it in the towel and squeeze another glass of juice manually like that. For the money, it was unacceptably bad performance! We exchanged it for the Breville Juice Fountain, which is more compact, easier to clean and operate, and is a lot cheaper, and we're happy with the exchange!

Pros: Easy to use and clean. Price/under 100.00
Cons: I don't really have any.

I have been looking at different types of juicers for the past couple of weeks and finally decided on this one. Wow! am I happy. The juicer is easy to use and clean. The juice is delicious and the price was affordable. I purchased mine at Sam's Club for under 100.00. I couldn't be happier.

Pros: High power motor.  Disassembles easily.
Cons: Blades have to be cleaned with a brush (included).  Too much wasted juice.

Although I bought this for a good price at Sam's Club ($99), I was immediately disappointed when I saw how much pulp was in the juice, and how much juice was in the pulp catcher.  The juice catcher actually does have a small straining device to catch pulp when you pour.  The waste pulp is so wet, however, that I feel like I'm wasting too much of the juice from the fruits.  That's why I say it's inefficient.

Also, I realized it's too big to fit inside any of my cabinets, and it's footprint is too big to leave on the counter.

Pros: Beautiful design. Black so it does not stain from carrots, for example. Fast and efficient.
Cons: It is big, but most 850watt machines are!

I could not disagree more with the other review, this is the best juicer that I have ever owned (and I had ones that cost $300+). It is very easy to clean compared to some of the other ones, very quiet operation and highly efficient.

Pros: large shoot takes larger pieces
Cons: not enough juice

I felt this was an awful juicer for the price. I have a 15 year old $50.00 juicer that works a whole lot better, I get two extra cups of juice from it and you don't feel like you need to juice the pulp again. The juice was "chewy" the pulp was wet and carrot pulp sprayed everywhere. I also found it hard to assemble the pulp collector. It was not any harder to clean than my old one. I thought it should have a strainer. I used the strainer from my old juicer. The shoot was nice to accommodate larger pieces. Not a good quality for the money.

Pros: Solid construction, high power, good looks
Cons: Manual says to use high speed for carrot juice, but you should use low speed.

We have a Waring blender in the family for the last 45 years, so when I saw the Waring Juicerator I just had to buy it. At first the my carrot juice came out very pulpy - I called Waring on the phone and was told to try it on LOW speed and "let the juicer do the work". The juice came out PERFECT! Thanks ;)
