Pros: At their best Modest still manages some great, subtle pop melodies. Cons: They seem complacent, maybe even bored with their sound.

by EAZYE882 ,Mar 22 '07
Pros: A cd that stays true to the Modest Mouse style Cons: A little boring for those wanting an up-beat mainstream cd.
The greatest thing about this album is the Smith's guitarist Jonny Marr joining forces with Modest Mouse. The Indie Rockers kept themselves under wraps until their 2004s hit cd "Good New for People Who Love Bad News" and the hit song "Float On."
For those who are Modest Mouse fans this album is still a pretty good album but for those looking for another maintstream Pop type album should stay away and save your money. If you're trying to get into Modest Mouse music look into a lot of their earlier albums.
Good Songs: "Dashboard" "Missed the Boat" "People as Places as People"
