Pros: Durable, easy to use, convenient, excellent flavor Cons: Small propane tanks don't last that long
This Weber grill is very durable. I rsquo;ve just finished my third season with it and it works just as good as when I got it. Some people say you should get a cover for it. I haven rsquo;t covered it since I got it and it works and looks just ...
Pros: Built-in storage, no-hassle starting, great charcoal flavor. Cons: Small disposable starter tanks can add up if you use it a lot.
I skipped the charcoal phase most folks go through, so I've been using gas grills for years. This year I decided to get a charcoal grill just to have fun with. I bought this one primarily because of the auto-ignition feature. Basically, it has a propane ...
Pros: Well made and cooks okay Cons: Kind of silly idea and just not that versatile.
What is it? I'm not sure I get the point. This is a charcoal grill with a propane starter system. So you avoid the starting issues, which really aren't that big a problem if you know how to start a grill. Build time and set up is fairly quick, easily ...
Pros: Great value, Charcoal cooking no time Cons: handles would be nice
Great product. If you want charcoal flavor and do not want to wait for it. I've been very impressed with the product. You do have to put it together, so give yourself an hour and some space to work. I put mine together in the garage. Once ...
Pros: Ease of starting charcoal Cons: Flimsy tabletop construction and lack of handles to move the BBQ.
I am highly disappointed in this product. The model comes without the handles which it once sported in earlier designs. Without handles, the only way to move it from place to place is to pick it up by the lip of the table top and pull. You have to ...
Pros: great taste, convenient controls Cons: small cooking area, no adjustment on grill height
After many years of using a gas grill I got fed up with the lack of taste and last spring got this Weber grill. Now my grilled food has taste! The propane ignition system works really well and it actually is more economical than using starter ...
My husband absolutely loves his new Weber Performer Grill!!! by playaysol ,Oct 06 '06
Pros: Starts coals easy, without lighter fluid. Easy to clean. You control temperature. Good heavy construction. Cons: None
I bought my husband this grill for our anniversary this year, and he LOVES it! We have cooked on it just about every night! The push button igniter from a propane assist makes it very easy to get the coals started, and you don't have to worry about using lighter fluid. The coals fit into two metal compartments that can be separated for slower cooking. The ashes fall into a compartment that easily removes, which makes it a breeze to clean. The work table and charcoal bin have been a definite plus. We have not found any negative features in this grill. It is the best of both worlds, the wonderful taste of cooking on charcoal with mesquite chips, and the ease of starting with the gas assist.I have been so glad that I made the right decision with this grill, and I hope you will too!

Pros: Easy to light, good temperature control, a lot of thought went into the design Cons: Tool pegs are too close to each other, plastic wheels are not very robust.
What a great, great product.
Having worn out 2 propane grills in 5 years , (and not really happy with either of them), we decided to get back to basics. The big drawback on charcoal was the lighting, but not anymore. Just pile the briquettes in the middle, hit the button and in 20 minutes your cooking.
The one touch cleaning is a snap and the temperature control is easy and accurate. What a difference.
Clean up is a snap but I strongly recommend you get the cover , though it is a bit pricey.
Best Weber Grill I Have Ever Owned by caleb1914 ,Nov 11 '06
Pros: Charcoal taste with Gas Simplicity.. IT'S A WEBER!! Cons: I didn't buy the grill sooner..... BUY IT!!
I purchased this grill based on epinions that I read on the internet. I was not disappointed. This grill works great. Dump charcoal into briquet holders, move holders over flame/gas area, turn gas on, push button, walk away, come back in 10 minutes, turn gas off, come back in another 10-15 minutes and your charcoal is glowing hot. Then either move briquet holders to opposite sides if needing indirect heat or use metal tongs or spatula to dump briquets out and level out. I have set up the briquets in the briquet holders before going to work and had my wife turn gas on and push button. The easy to clean feature is GREAT. You will not be disappointed. Spend some time looking for the best deal, some with free shipping. I purchased mine for 299.99 including shipping. Assembly was easy and took about 30-45 minutes.
