Pros: The rudest (and most entertaining) service in the city. Cons: Not for the meek or the very young after dark!
Dining at the Wiener Circle is more about the experience than the fine cuisine, and believe me, late night dining at this hotdog/hamburger stand is not for the meek!
Upon moving to Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, I didn't initially notice...
Pros: Very good food. Cons: Service is intentionally rude - so not for those who get offended easily
I lived in the Lincoln Park area for three years. During the three years, Weiner Circle was on the top of my list for a great burger or dog with fries! This little place is pretty low scale. In fact, I didn't even realize it was around until I had ...
Pros: You will be entertained Cons: Not for the easily offended
Going to the Weiner's Circle is a sort of "rite of passage" for any new 20 something who moves to Chicago. The atmosphere is best described as obscene. You will be cursed at. Period. And you will love it. The char dogs are excellent, and...
Pros: Fun, cheap, and conveniently located. Cons: Sketchy.
The Weiner Circle is a landmark on Clark St. It's just down the block from the school I attended for 9 years. Actually, both my sister and I were born at the hospital a few blocks from the Circle. (A coincidence of geographical placement which has...
The Weiner Circle is just a little hotdog/hamburger stand on Clark. It's not much on ambiance, there isn't a lot of seating, and there isn't much parking. But you don't got for the atmosphere, you go for the food, and the food is great.
If you've never been to the Weiner Circle then you are in for a treat. It's a conceptual hotdog stand - yes I said conceptual hotdog stand! The concept is that angry black women insult you while you order your hotdog and fries. I know it sounds bizarre but its fun. They aren't mean but they are definitely playful. The Weiner Circle is a one of a kind place to try if you're looking for late night grub.
Pros: Huge server screaming at you Cons: Huge server screaming at you
Last night I went there with some friends after a long night of St. Patty's Day drinking. After having obscenities screamed at me and being called a cracker, I ordered a chocolate milkshake at the request of a "friend." It was an experience I will never forget. I suggest anyone who goes there should give the chocolate milkshake a try. This place is hilarious.
