Hey anybody want to buy a timeshare? How bout a cheap vacation?

by susidee34 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Mar 01 '03
Pros: amenities and pricing
Cons: that timeshare thing
Take some time and pamper yourself, book a stay at Westgate Lakes in Orlando, Florida. Sure you have to listen to the sales blurb about timeshares and vacation homes, but that isn’t until the end of your stay and I guess you can suffer a little...

by Susie-34668, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Jun 01 '08
Pros: It has everything you need in the complex.
Cons: Another timeshare that is getting too crowded for me.
Our first visit to Westgate Lakes Resort was 10 years ago. We had decided to buy our Westgate Towers timeshare and they wanted us to try out one of their properties. It was Westgate Lakes, which is in easy reach of Sea World. As we go to Sea World ...

Cons: Not a lot of cleaning services.
Some wear and tear on rooms.
I love this place and I hope to go back again. Ok lets be clear this is a time share that also rents out rooms.  We knew this when we arranged to stay here so we knew what we were getting into and I was surprised by some of the reviews because our ...

Deceptive - not a hotel

by lmwright63 , May 22 '04
Pros: Decent location, pools and grounds were very nice and well maintained
Cons: Dirty carpets, not a hotel, simply put a TIMESHARE!
I just got back today from staying here for 6 nights. I found this "resort" on Expedia and had our admin book it as we were attending a conference in Orlando and we couldn't get a room for all nights at the place where the conference was being held. ...

Cons: No system for towel replenishment and sink was too small for washing dishes.
We recently toured the Westgate Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida for a 3-night, 4-day tour for $98.00 plus tax and gratuity. After answering a survey when asking for Orlando vacation packages, I was contacted by a telemarketer from this organization...

Westgate Lakes - An incredible deal for Disney vacationers!

by Jacqlin82 , Apr 28 '08
Pros: Lots of pools, close to attractions
Cons: Dated decor, dirty carpets, limited parking
It just so happens our neighbors bought into a timeshare at Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa. We used a $99 4 day/3 night coupon from our neighbors to secure a March 2008 Florida vacation. We were so excited to be staying in this 5 star resort for such a ...

My wife and I have stayed at this location twice and feel that it is a pretty nice place to stay in Orlando. The first thing that you need to know about this resort is that it is a timeshare resort. They do offer their surplus rooms to the public at ...

by RockyBug , Mar 09 '06
Pros: Excellent staff, super food and drink, relaxing resort.
Cons: I am not there right now.
My wife and I recently returned from the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We think you cut down on the chances of having a bad travel experience at a Ritz. Mind you, nothing is perfect, but that has been our experience. 1. The ...
