I recently purchased at my local Sam's Club for $1,047 and couldn't be happier. I did alot of research and this is truly hard to beat for the money. The only thing it's missing is a tuner, but I run off a cable box anyways so I don't care. I've hooked it to a pc and a HD cable box and was blown away. The brightness of the display is amazing, I actually kept turning down the backlight because it was so bright. Very, very little darkening in the corners that's really only visible if you stare at a white screen. Watching HD channels is a thrill, and it will display std cable w/ black bars or stretched. This is one outstanding value!

My LVM-37W3 arrived with several dead pixels. The internet retailer told me to go through the manufacturer for a warranty replacement. I contacted Westinghouse and sent the TV to them, and waited and waited. I called every week for a status, but this model was out of stock and no one could give me an ETA for my replacement. It took over 3 months to get the replacement, and it too had bad pixels!! No wonder their BBB rating is a D.

I bought my first Westinghouse 37 inch LCD at BB and it broke last week, about 14 months after I bought it. Obviously, the 12 month warranty was about 2 months too short.

Stupidly, I ordered another 37 inch from a reputable
online dealer last week and received it yesterday. Today, less than 36 hours after everything worked fine, the set quit working.
