Pros: Big bang for the buck.
Multi-use makes it indispensable.
Easy cleaning.
Keep warm feature. Cons: Food sequences not programmed like expected.
No speedcook cycle.
Oven takes "forever" to get hot.
Before I bought the Velos, I scoured the internet for reviews, any reviews. The only reviews I could find where when this oven was released - and right before it was released. I put a lot of stock in two reviews, including a Consumer Reports review, as ...

Pros: Touchscreen. Multiple cooking modes. Accessory package. Grilling capabilities. (Loudly) powerful fan. Popcorn Sensor Cons: Cheap plastic on stainless model. Shoddy workmanship. Inferior quality materials. Overpriced. Poor customer service.

Outstanding Microwave!
by wareyes ,Dec 30 '08
Pros: Large interior space which is great for pans and large casserole dishes. Preset cooking cycles. Cons: Heats food to the point where it will melt plastic containers so be very careful.
I bought this microwave to replace a GE 900 watt unit that was getting old. A friend has a similar model so I took her recommendation. This unit has all of the bells and whistles you would need to cook just about anything! I installed it just in time for the holidays and cooked everything in this unit. The microwave heats food very quickly. You can boil 2 cups of water in a minute. There are a bunch of pre-programmed settings. I’ve used the one to soften butter, boil pasta, make popcorn, grill steaks, and reheat food. All which work perfectly. Also used it to bake all of the Christmas cookies! Note: You can fit two smaller rectangular pans if you use both racks. Use the short rack for the bottom pan then use the broiler rack to prop the second one up. Just turn the turn-table off when you start the cooking process. This unit will replace your oven and works great for a small family.
