Pros: Big drum to do comforters, uses less water Cons: Stinky clothes, buggy computer board, expense
Our trusty Kenmore top loading washing machine finally died after 20 years of use. As tempted as we were to go out and buy another one, my husband and I were enticed by the energy star rebates being given for the more energy-efficient front ...
I am pleased to write a glowing review of my Whirlpool Duet 9200 front-load washer. I previously wrote a scathing review on an LG washer and was encouraged to write a review of it's replacement. In writing this review, I come from a different ...
Pros: Clothes are clean, soap is rinsed out, uses less water Cons: Takes FOREVER in comparison to my old machine, odor from door seal
I bought this last fall and I have not had any problems with it. The washer gets the clothes clean (I usually need to use the heavily soiled setting for my boys' clothes). The soap is always completely rinsed out (if you have anyone with ultra ...
Pros: I love the quietness of the machine very quiet. Cons: Must place basket in front when unloading or clothes fall on the floor.
I purchased my Whirlpool front loading washer and dryer about a year and a half ago at an appliance store in my home town. I was searching for a new washer and dryer after my old one finally quit and the laundry was piling up fast. I have a large family ...
After getting several BGE bills in the $300 range... even when keeping the house at a frigid 62 degrees in the winter, my husband and I decided we had to start looking at other ways to save energy. Our washer and dryer were approximately 1 billion years ...
Pros: Cleans well, good build quality, relatively quiet except in high spin stage of washing Cons: Main knob a little flimsy feeling for an otherwise solid machine.
Bought the washer at Lowe's as a pair with the dryer. Overall the washer has performed very well. No maintenance issues to date. Seems to clean the clothes well. I have read that some users complain about moldy smell. I have been very careful from ...
Pros: very large load capacity, quiet!!, gets your clothes clean Cons: price, wish we could get even more clothes in it..haha
We needed front load stackables to do what we wanted with our laundry room. Things we needed to consider were that it would be for a main floor and that my wife does quite a few loads of laundry a week to keep up and so large capacity and relative short ...
Pros: Low water usage, spins dry laundry VERY well Cons: Most times 1 hour cycle time
As promised this is an update on the Whirlpool Duet HT WFW9200SQ. I cannot say enough good things about this washer. We have washed rugs, pillows, blankets, tennis shoes, slippers, dog bedding and of course clothes in this washer with EXCELLENT ...
Pros: Whites are true white
Easy to set up
Cons: All HE Washer cycles take 45-120 min
After having a Maytag Neptune washer that died after eight years of service, the service agreement of my protection plan gave me an option to select a washer of similar capacity. After doing extensive customer reviews over the Internet, the whirlpool ...
Pros: Huge capacity, having the top free to fold clothes, almost spins the clothes dry. Cons: None that I can think of now.
I bought this unit as a pair about 2 months ago. It seemed shopping for a washer and dryer was worse than shopping for a car. We finally decided on this unit because of the size and looks, but would have bought the Fridgidair units if we had been looking ...
Pros: worst customer support Cons: worst quality built in mexico
I just got 9200SQ washer and dryer delivered to my house last Friday. After installing it, I tested run the washer. It gave me the error code F32 within minutes. I checked out everything but couldn't figure out the problem. So, I called Whirlpool to ...
Pros: capacity: huge 4 cubic feet compared to most at 3.5

Key features of a washer for me, as a mother of two active kids, are capacity, short wash cycle, cost, and energy efficiency (because this relates to operating cost as well). Weighing these factors, as well as noise level, because it would be used near ...
Pros: You will get to know your repair man very well! Hope he is good looking!!! Cons: Terrible Customer service, poorly made product, warrenty doesn't cover most common problems. Rip off!!!!
I am so dissapointed with this washer. I spent almost $1000.00 on a washer because I wanted a good washer that would last a long time! Boy was I fooled. The rubber seal broke in less than a year! BUYER BEWARE...TO REPAIR THE ...
Pros: Good washing while it worked Cons: Broke down in 2 years!!!
I bought a WFW9200SQ front loader washer in Sept 2007. We were happy with our purchase, until it stopped working in Oct 2009. That fateful day my wife loaded the washer as usual and tried to power it up. But...huff... it went on ...
This was a great machine....until it wasn't by leshipman ,Dec 05 '09
Pros: The washer was quiet, it used less water and detergent, and was easy to use. Cons: Beware....Whirlpool manufactures many of the U.S.'s top brand names!
We had good experiences with our last Whirlpool top loader washer and dryer. Our daughter is still using it....it's 17 years old. We gave it to her when we purchased our new Whirlpool Duet Ht and matching dryer from Lowe's.
I've had this machine for LESS THAN TWO YEARS! It was wonderful until it died, without warning, last week. A machine that costs as much as this one should not cost the same amount (again) to repair. The repair costs were going to be between $500-900. The problem...the MAIN control was not sending power to the MOTOR control. The repairman didn't know if it was the main control that was the problem or the motor control that was the problem. I am really saddened by this....the waste of our money and the waste of resoures used to manufacture this piece of junk.
