by popsrocks popsrocks is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Books, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Oct 07 '03
Pros: Easy to read with many personal examples as to why he has particular views.
Cons: Much too short a book.
You love him or you hate him. Those are the quickly and easily spoken words when conversation of Bill O'Reilly comes up. O'Reilly the Man and His Books< b> O'Reilly continues at the helm of The O'Reilly Factor, the highest rated cable ...

Bill O'Reilly Tells It Like It Really Is!

by Dunkjam Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Oct 07 '03
Pros: Very informative, full of facts and ways to form positive relationships.
Cons: I could not put the book down until I read it all within one evening!
Bill O'Reilly gave me plenty to think about as I read his 212 page book! He is the producer and anchor of his own prime-time news program called the "The O'Reilly Factor". I have read two other best-selling books that he wrote called "The O'Reilly Factor" ...

O'Reilly Keeps It Pithy and lets you know Who's Looking Out For You

by scapp70 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Nov 14 '06
Pros: Eye opener, a breath of fresh air.
Cons: none
I have been watching Bill O'Reilly in his nightly news program, The O'Reilly Factor for probably just two years now, I guess I'm a bit of a Johnny-come-lately when it comes to Bill, since he's been on the Fox News channel for over ten years now. ...

A Quick But Good Read

by brookelorren Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Sep 30 '03
Pros: Quick read, good book.
Cons: Talks too much about his television show, needs more meat.
Who can you trust in this world? Who is looking out for you? These are the main questions that Bill O'Reilly tries to answer in this book, and I think he does an excellent job of it. My husband initially went to the bookstore to pick up a different b ...

Who's Looking out for You is as much fun as watching the 'Factor'

by 1truluv , Aug 17 '06
Pros: Worth every word written
Cons: None
I have been a fan of the 'O'Reilly Factor' since the demise of the twin towers on 9/11. It seemed to be the only news program on television not trying to hype the disaster of the situation, instead, giving a true sense of what really happened. So it's ...

Look who is looking out for US!

by grandgram Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Sep 23 '03
Pros: Good suggestions for helping us look out for ourself.
Cons: Nothing
Bill O’Reilly is one person you either love or hate. It all depends on your beliefs, political standings or just plain despise him. I am one who likes what he says, he tells it like it is and is outspoken on all subjects. He bows down to no one and ...

A DIRTY JOB BUT SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT

by kirbylee , Nov 15 '03
Pros: Great advice from someone who truly cares.
Cons: Not a thing.
Bill O’Reilly has taken his share of potshots over the past few years. But it seems that that is what happens when you are not only noticeable but disagree with the majority. In his case, it is not the majority of people he disagrees with. Rather it is th ...

Good, but not great.
by bbealmba ,Jan 05 '04
Pros: Some good advice on life. If your friends call you naive, read this book.
Cons: Little new content. Reminds me more of Dr. Phil than Bill O'Reilly.
As an O'Reilly fan I anxiously awaited reading this book. Now I am sad I did. Compared to his other books this one falls way short. This book is so short of research and facts that I think I could have written it in a three day weekend. It has great opinion on what you should and should not do in life, but lacked the good content of Bill's previous books. I got the impression that this was a rush job to get out another book for the Christmas spend-fest, or maybe to compete with Hillary, or maybe both. Regardless, it seemed more like a forced job than artistic or intellectual revolution.

Who's Looking Out for You? - Bill is!
by bellgirl ,Feb 26 '04
Pros: Well written,a must read if you want to look out for yourself and your family.
Cons: Not a lot of new content.
I am a huge Bill O'Reilly fan. I love both his tv and radio shows. He is king among journalist. I've also read his two previous books. This book is well written and I did enjoy it. However, I don't feel he gave us a wealth of new content. Everything he wrote about I either head on his show or read in his past books.

I think the biggest change in this book is his take on how best to look out for yourself. Whether it's personal relationships, politicians, the media, etc. you should always know who has your best interest at heart.

I think the best topic he had was the "Ten Commandments" of effective parenting. What a no frills, let's get down to it list. I think it's the best advice a parent should get. If you don't read anything but that part, it is well worth it.

Who's looking out for you is a good book, but I really didn't feel the need to buy it. I preferred borrowing it from the library.

VERY THOUGHT PROVOKING
by mortarman0341 ,Feb 20 '05
Pros: KEEPS YOUR INTEREST. STRAIGHT FORWARD AND TO THE POINT
Cons: NONE TO SPEAK OF.
BILL DID A GREAT JOB OF MAKING ME THINK ABOUT THE DIFFRENT RELATIONSHIPS IN MY LIFE AND HOW THEY CAN HAVE AN IMPACT BOTH GOOD AND BAD.

HE IS VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD WICH IS APPRECIATED AND NEEDED. THIS BOOK IS MORE OF AN OPINION THAN A STORY ABOUT SOMETHING. IT GOES OVER MANY POINTS WITHOUT LOSING TRACK OR GETTING BORING.

OVER ALL IT IS A GOOD BOOK.

GREAT FOR INFREQUENT READERS
