I've been a licensed stylist for 20 years and have used a lot of blow dryers. This blow dryer has lasted me seven years. The only problem I ever had, after seven years was the spring on the cool shot blew out. Everything is just in the right place. It gets hot enough to style African American hair, but never too hot that I have burned anyone. It weighs in at something like 11lbs, so it is a little hefty. But that has never a problem for me. This thing just lasts and lasts and lasts. And on top of everything else it just looks really cool!!!
