Pros: graphics, music, story... Cons: having to SEARCH for TOWNS and DUNGEONS, ack!
Back when Wild Arms came out in 1997, it wasnt really receiving a lot of hype, and the reason is, a lot of people just blew off Wild Arms and looked at it as an appetizer to a grand dinner, which was Final Fantasy VII....
Pros: The graphics are good! The graphics are good... so's the sounds. Cons: The gameplay is still a little off.
Howdy strangers. This here's ya regular brand o' Sony RPG goodness, from the company that brought you fellas Wild Arms an' Wild Arms: 2nd Ignition. Yep, them came out back then on the ol' PlayStation front. Wild Arms introduced to us hombres an original ...
Pros: It kinda grows on you after a while. Cons: Characters, art, story...maybe it's just me, though.
Wayyyy back in the day, Sony released an RPG called Wild Arms. I hated it. That was pretty much the end of the story for me. This could have been due in a large part to the fact that I was working at Squaresoft at the time, and the battles, in my...
Pros: A Fun And Invigorating Battle System, Bold And Gorgeous Graphics Cons: Weak Characters, A Very Thin Plot, Repetitive Gameplay
To me, the Wild Arms franchise has always been an interesting one. While the games have never typically burned up the sales charts, they do have a steady, loyal following that will go wherever the series takes them. The original Wild...
Pros: Immersive dungeons, nice cel-shaded graphics, and a very SWEET soundtrack. Cons: Lack of playable character selection, and world map navigation is still a pain.
Even with the massive hype surrounding the Final Fantasy series nowadays, Sony's Wild Arms series appears to be holding its own in the console RPG market. As far as I know, it's the only series that I know that the company has stuck with...
Pros: Great Graphics, Awesome Soundtrack, Awesome Plotline, Awesome Game Cons: Battling is a Pain
I must admit, I've played all the Wild Arms games, I'm a gaming junkie, at least I like to think so. And I must admit, it's about time I see a totally complete "Western RPG" complete with clashes of cultures, trains, horses, and the whole nine yards! Oh,...
Pros: Ooooh, a Western RPG, twisted. Cons: "Where is the turn while running" button?!
This game is about a western-type cowboy called a "drifter". Most drifters are out there to help other people, and others are treasure hunters, but they all search for fortune and adventure. These drifters live in a world called Filgaia, which is...
Pros: Great characters and plot Cons: Cell shading is nice, but annoying at times. The battle system isn't too exciting.
I personally liked this game. I'm still not too gone over the cell shading, but the characterization and the plot made up for it. The battle system gets redundant after a while and all of those no encounters abilities become your best friend. I'd suggest getting it because of the plot and characters...they're worth the boring battle system. An easy game.
Wild Arms 3 : Great for the ps2 rpger by jetts ,May 02 '05
Pros: Nice battle system,Graphics,Wild west theme,Price point, Cons: WAY TOO REPETITIVE,And you need to find your town and dungeons,
WA3 is prolly the 2nd best wild arms game out there. It has good characters. (only 4 but you will get over it)Nice story
good battle system, Good graphics. WA3 was great at first then it got WAY TOO REPTITIVE its like Town, dungeon, story, repeat... However the Price point is good.
I was first introduced to this game through a demo I recieved in the mail. I played it then went out and bout it. I am partial to RPGs so this was an okay product for me. I enjoyed the story line and how the game was played out. In comparison to other RPGs though it was not on the top of my list but it could have worked its way up there if the graphics were a bit sharper. At first the controls and the battle scenes were a little awkward but they came in time. I would definately recomend this to a friend. Especially one interested in classics.

This is about a girl named Virginia who has to save her planet form destruction and doom...But her original goal was to find her "wings" and be a real drifter. It all changes when she runs away from her family and sets off to be a drifter like her father. She meets up with a professor, treasure hunter and an indian with magical powers. Each have their strengths and weaknesses. In order to save the world you must awaken the guardians from different parts of the world. You'll meet up with drifters, good or bad. The one who has a thing for Virginia will play an important role in the game! He'll be the unwilling host of the dark spear thingy thats suppose to destroy the world. So get all the guardians and beat all the bad guys and the dark spear thingy and the world should be restored back to normal I believe... Like I said its VERY long.
