Pros: Smooth shaving. No razor burn. No mess. Cons: Smell can knock you out. Don't inhale!
I can't say enough good things about William's Lectric Shave. It's that good. I hate shaving as I think most men do. It's time consuming, irritating and painful. Ok, maybe not as bad as all the places women have to shave, but still, those parts are ...
Pros: Allows razor to glide over skin and stiffens whiskers for better shave Cons: dries out skin, smells awful, can damage electric shaver, burns skin.
I am new to electric shaving and I find that shaving dry doesn't work for me. I need something to reduce drag on my face so I tried Williams Lectric Shave, which apparently is the number one selling electric pre-shave lotion in N. America. Probably ...
Pros: None. Cons: Doesn't work. Leaves "slicky", greasy type feeling on your face which DOES NOT DRY. Gimmick.
This stuff does not work for me. I tried it several different times, eliminating the possibility that I could have "used it wrong" the previous times. You put this stuff on your face and even a half hour later, it does not dry. It leaves a greasy, ...
Try this before buying a new shaver!!!! by drplemon ,Feb 21 '05
Pros: Cheap. Great for sensitive skin. Must-have for those with electric shaver. Cons: They don't advertise at all! Smell is overwhelming at first.
I was fed up with my electric shaver and about to go back to razors or buy a new one. I always had go over the same area again and again and I was always left with little hairs afterwards and a red, irritated neck. A friend told me to try Williams Lectric Shave (just over 5 bucks at Walgreens) instead of blowing another 100 bucks on a new electric.
You put Lectric Shave on before you shave (some call it a Pre-shave) and it dries out your whiskers so they stand up off your face more, making it easier for your electric shaver to cut them. Well, I am certainly impressed. Not only do I get a closer shave, but I can shave in less than 3 minutes now with no little persistant hairs left over, and no red, irritated neck!
Note: you also have to wash your face thoroughly with a good facial cleanser, because the oil that builds up ALSO has the effect of making your whiskers stick to your face, making it harder to shave them off. Try Lectric Shave. You will be glad you did!
Pros: it works as advertised Cons: splash droplets on sink or mirror
This stuff makes shaving with an electric quicker, smoother and closer. First, it makes the razor glide more smoothly over the skin. Second, it makes the hair stand up a bit more so it is more easily cut by the razor. In short, it works.
Yes, it works real fine ... by jacquest ,Oct 15 '08
Pros: Easy to use, pleasant smell, and gets me a better shave that lasts longer. Cons: Bottle opening allows dripping. Would spray system be possible ?
Each time I go for a few days at the sea, my razor glides better on my skin and I can shave closer and better and it takes less time. I don't know why. But that gave me the idea of trying Lectricshave. Maybe they have found the secret from the sea. In in fact, they did and even better. Now, shaving is more pleasurable and Lectricshave has made my life easier. I wish the form of the bottle and openning would be improved to phase out dripping on the side of the bottle and in the sink. I wonder if a spray nozzle would be a possibility. But, outside of that, Lectricshave is a fine product that does what it says in it's advertising. Now, it's a pleasure to shave even if I have to do it twice a day when I have to go out at night. I have a really strong beard and the second time in a day was really painful. Now thios time is over. Also, it takes me less time to shave and I am very appreciative of that.
