I did not have high expectations of this movie, and in the end came out above my expectations. However, if you go in with high expectations, you will be disappointed.

Win a Date with Tad Hamilton was a decent flick, but by no means anything special. When the movie first starts out, my first impression was that the movie had some seriously bad acting. The acting did get better once the movie gave way.

Topher Grace and Kate Bosworth gave good performances. Josh Duhamel's (Tad Hamilton) was nothing special and I found his character to be rather annoying. Topher Grace's character was funny and the highlight of the movie.

Overall, the movie was mildly entertaining. I think it is too "old" for a young pre-teen crowd and yet not nearly entertaining enough or original for any other age generation. This movie is not original in any way, shape or form and there isn't anything great about it to still make it worth while, even if not original.

Yes, it's true, this movie is definately a chick flick. So, being a "chick", i liked it. Although, it was nothing like real life. Half of these things would never happen in real life. But that's what chick flicks are all about: dreaming wildly, right? The cast is great. Topher Grace, as always, plays a heart-string pulling hottie in this movie. The lines were sort of cheesy, and like i said, highly unlikely to happen in real life. But if your a chick flick lover, this is definately the movie for you.

Great movie for guys looking to take their girls on a date to the theater. Also a great movie for a night on the town with the girls. Full of emotion. A comedy and romance classic. Overall fun. Thumbs up.
