Pros: Great Toon Graphics, Great Concept, Lots of Fun Cons: Horrible Servers, Buggy Game, Crashes, Server boots everyone off often
I have been playing WoW for only one month, but in that time most of the negative comments about Blizzard you will read are true. Their servers suck, you pay for them and Blizzard doesn't care. If you have an issue they will be happy to copy and paste ...
Pros: Never ending game, choice of PvP or not Cons: $15 a month
World of Warcraft by Blizzard has to be one of the best online games created. For starters, you can choose the side you want to be of: Alliance or Horde. Both sides have different cities and alliances, so you can attack the enemys' cities. You can ...
Pros: Fun starting out, not knowing what lies ahead. Cons: At level 60 character advancement relies on boring, repetitive tasks.
This game is fun until you reach level 60. At that point the only character advancement possible, is done by acquiring items that improve your characters abilities. The means for acquiring these items (honor, reputation, darkmoon faire, instances) ...
Pros: Perhaps the greatest MMORPG of all time Cons: VERY bad balance amongst classes, this version of the game is dead.
WoW is the proper name for this game, though the world of Azeroth is a highly animated one, in many ways that plays to Blizzards advantage as the small imperfections in anything is easily ignored. I fell in absolute love with this game; I had multiple ...
Pros: Fun Gameplay ;
Easy to Learn ;
Runs on many computers ;
Cons: $15 Monthly Fee ;
Can be VERY addicting to some
What can I say....World of Warcraft(WoW) is one fun game. You can run around slaying monsters for experience points or items. Not into that kind of stuff? Don't worry, you can do much more. You may want to just run around collecting herbs to create ...
Pros: - great community of players
- always someone one
- huge world
- many races/classes Cons: - sometimes has ques to get into servers
- laggy sometimes
I dont know what some people think when they insult this game. I just read a review talking about how horde and alliance are unbalanced, and how palidans have unfair abilities to shamans, and how theres nothing to do at 60. This is all untrue. Palidans ...
Pros: Initially very addictive but wanes and gets boring fast unless you know people in game. Cons: Horrible... absolutely horrible customer service. Buy a different game, imo.
The game is somewhat addictive but gets tiresome after a while. Many servers are conjested resulting in log in wait times. Game play is often laggy, the game entails a LOT of down time especially traveling and quests. Many quests are very redundant. ...
Pros: Excellent gameplay, unbelievable great pvp locks are a bit imba atm 9/10 Cons: very little, some class balance issues, nothing major
First of all, I'd like to steer people away from superdave144's review. I will analyze and provide counter arguments for his review. "Horrible support! I will explain later on. Quite a bit of lag from looting and when traveling in main cities. " ...
Pros: Unique gaming style, Very easy to use, FIRST MONTH FREE, Parental Play-time control via Blizzard.com Cons: Often times this game is too much fun... Slightly addictive.
I have played World of Warcraft for over 1 year now, and I am an avid gamer. I have tried the best and the worst of almost all video games out today. World of Warcraft (WoW) A role playing game that only ends if you want it to. When playing you ...
Pros: Read every review that was marked 5 stars. Cons: The subscription fee of course.
I know many players are turned away by this game for the price. $15 is a load especially when you can’t get to the computer and enjoy the game for a few hours. Me and my friends use a completely legit website that allows you to to fill out surveys and ...
Pros: Massive world, addicting game play, enough quests to make your head spin. Cons: Monthly cost, addicting, and an overwhelming abundance of quests.
Quite possibly my favorite MMO in the world. I picked this up with warnings from my friends not to get addicted and still ended up spending my time playing. This is an easy to get into game, geared at making you want to play.
WoW is getting better... by wowalready ,May 05 '08
Pros: Initially a very great game Cons: New Expansion makes the game better than ever
I had a review on here that bashed WOW - but since the Burning Crusade Expansion I have changed my mind... I thought Blizzard Games was cashing in on the player base but I know understand why the lack of true patch support - they were busy building a GREAT expansion. I was ready to quit WoW but have subscribed a second account instead...
Why World of Warcraft is awesome! by sparkplug39 ,Mar 16 '05
Pros: Graphics rock, game play is awesome, well worth the price Cons: Maintenance every Tuesday, 15 dollar monthly fee
This game is so well done, that it some times makes me want to cry when it goes down for maintenance. The graphics are amazing. You have many choices of your character. The spells are fun; and the best part is, you can turn things into sheep. There are so many bonuses to this being a all on-line game. Things like an Auction House are possible, and teaming up with other players all around the world is much more fun than playing alone. I know what your thinking. It's 15 dollars a month. However, because of the cost, they can keep adding what they call "patches," which go into the game to create different spells, enemies or eliminate lag time. So the game never gets old! They also have "game masters" that can help you out if you get stuck with a common problem. So in my eyes, this game is one of the best. Thanks for reading. Sparkplug39
Pros: Best teamplay game in history. Fun animation and color. Cons: Too addictive, don't play from college
A great multiplayer game that involves some of the best teamwork oriented gameplay in Video game history. Going through instances (dungeons) in the game and fighting bosses for treasure requires everyone to do their job correctly. Some dungeons play with 10, 20 or even 40 people.
Class balancing seems to always be a bit off kilter with the creators at Blizzard always nerfing down one class skill to be in line with others.
Like any MMO the experience soley depends on the social aspect of gameplay. Finding a good group or squad or clan to play with and making friends is key to full enjoyment of the WoW universe.
Do You Want to Become an Addict? by yukiyubi ,Aug 08 '06
Pros: interactive, creative, easy to play, different races and classes, talent trees are customizable, popular, backstory Cons: graphics could improve, patches, lag, server problems, time-eating, PVP is unbalanced
If you're searching for a quick addiction, try World of Warcraft on for size. The game play is fairly simple and easy to grasp, yet the world is so complicated and large. The characters are fairly customizable, each race and class has specific content and complicated talent and ability trees. Guilds are especially effective for connecting players and making the World of Warcraft experience fun and exciting. World of Warcraft also allows many customized UI add-ons available from different sites to make gameplay yet easier. There are many World of Warcraft support and information sites with virtually everything in the World of Warcraft realms covered. With yet more content to come in the near future there seems no end to the amassing World of Warcraft fanatics, which means yet more players to interact with.
