Pros: Cost and simple proven design
Cons: Noisy, dirty power output and it's heavy for it's 2600 Watt class.
Summary: A good simple generator when what you want is a 20 Amp. 120 Volt circuit. It is not the new inverter type and thus is more simple and lower in cost. What you give up in cleaner output and better regulation. If you want a small home standby or job site
