Yamaha RX-V2300 6.1 Channels Receiver

Pros: Lots of juice [110 watts RMS x 6], very clean looks, learning remote
Cons: Not THX [but no Yamaha is], light power cord, remote is a bit bulky

Hi guys and gals! This is my first review, so please indulge me a little as I lay the groundwork for future reviews [I just want to let you know where my head is at, and why I write what I do].

So what's the bottom line when looking for a home...

Was hunting for a quality receiver for sometime to complete a home theater system. Visited several local high-end componet suppliers, visited the internet, demo and listen to an array of hardware. Settled with the Yamaha RXV-2300, match it with Boston Acoustic 9500 Micro System and awesome is not sufficient to describe the quality of sound & acoustics. Oh, I forgot to mention, this was for the master bedroom, where my wife spends most of her time.

i just bought my self the NHT SB series,and this receiver enhanced the performance of the speaker. RX-V2300 is nicely design for their performance in sound. i try my brother Kenwood and its lower the sound quality of the speaker. i will definetly recommended this receiver or any yamaha receiver to anyone, you will not be dissapointed by buying any of their series. Remember any Hi-End speaker will not do much without great receiver/amps.now i bought my dad and my brother the same reciever and they are absolutley impress with the improvement of their speaker produce by this receiver. RX-V2300 is definetly a GREAT BUY.

This is one of the most awesome receivers , the sales man at abt try to convince that onkyo 700 was the best in a midrange money wise and sound quality. But I tested the Yamaha 1300 , it was good but moving to the Rv-2300. the sound was fastic and watchin a dvd movie was like a booster rocket taking off with the bose 7 series II speakers. This is it
