Monkeys Make Everything More Fun!

by BaronSamedi3 BaronSamedi3 is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Games, , Apr 12 '09
Pros: The floating away gimmick may be what prevents this from being the best platformer ever
Cons: That annoying floating away gimmick, which comes complete with annoying crying
Nintendo frequently receives a lot of flak and criticism from its critics for being a kiddie, play-it-safe game developer because it has created worlds revolving around cutesy characters and has an army of mascots which it is constantly able to fall back ...

Awww, look at the baby Mario.

by cobadee , Aug 02 '06
Pros: The gameplay is unique and fun.
Cons: Some sounds are annoying.
Way too easy.
Mario is probably the most popular series of all time and when they released this game I was a little surprised. The game is a port of a 90's classic Super Nintendo game and although the title may suggest that it is Super Mario Advance 3, you might as ...

by vadimio Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Dec 15 '02
Pros: nice colorful graphics, good sound, mini-games, captivating gameplay
Cons: Mario Bros. - the same multi-player, AGAIN!!!
Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 is the third Mario game ported to the GameBoy Advance. I have played all three and have decided to review them. I chose to review the last one first because it was the best out of all three, and there were no...

Is That A Dinosaur In Your Pocket?

by bangj , Mar 18 '05
Pros: Bright, colorful, great fun
Cons: I'll get back to you
If there is one game on the GBA that feels like it belongs, this is it. Yoshi’s Island fits the handheld perfectly, the controls are intuitive, even for big hands and the game is bright enough that it works wonderfully on the dark screen. The bonus for ...

Returning to Yo'ster Paradise

by NMD85 , Dec 29 '02
Pros: Outstanding visuals, extremely adaptive and inuitive gameplay, hilarious enemies & names
Cons: Baby Mario is nothing but a pest, some levels are tiringly near perpetual
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island has forever been plagued with an evil curse set by Nintendo. Ever since it's release in 1995 on the Super Nintendo, it's tried to sell based on the overshadowed title Super Mario World 2. It seems the very same...

That cute little thing stuck his tongue out at me!

by garfield135 , Dec 13 '06
Pros: Good gameplay, neat music, I can't beat it in 3 seconds like SMA4!
Cons: Same Mario Bros., and my game won't save anymore.
I got this game online for about $12 and I have vastly enjoyed it. There are 48 levels of Yoshi and Crybaby Mario.( Crybaby Mario is really not that bad...he only cries when you do something wrong...those people who say "all he does is cry" must be ...

Excellent little game

by sipecannon , Jan 17 '03
Pros: Incredible detail and color, lots of levels for such a small cartridge
Cons: music themes become stuck in my head for hours
I have a very abnormal, deprived gaming background because as a kid my parents refused to buy systems. Of course, I would salivate over the original Super Mario and duck hunt on the original NES at friends' houses, but for the most part, since I was...

Want to Talk About a REAL Video Game...

by cricks , Jan 23 '04
Pros: Good, well-thought out gameplay, good variety, vibrant colors of levels
Cons: Mario's crying is really annoying
Anybody remember this gem of a beauty on Super Nintendo? This was always one of my favorites on the Super Nintendo system, not because I'm a Mario fan, or because I'm a Yoshi fan, but because this game is so versatile! Most games go as follows: ...

SMW2 Yoshi's Island.

by yoshibot3d , Apr 23 '03
Pros: Excellent remake, good graphics, funny enemies.
Cons: plot's ok, and same multi-player game.
Yoshi stars in Nintendo's Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. This is a remake of the SNES game, and I think Nintendo did an outstanding job on remaking it.

The story is this, a stork is bringing two small packages to two lucky parents. ALL...

Yoshi hits the mark
by Quick101 ,Feb 01 '04
Pros: Fun, entertaining, not violent, yet still challenging. Demonstrates teamwork.
Cons: May persuade your child to want to paint their room green.
When i first got this game for my daughter, her first reaction was, "Ewwww! He's green!" That really amazed me. Yet, in the next few hours, she really got into the game, and wouldn't stop playing. Later on that day, she told me that she loved this game, and thought I should try it too. Normally, I don't play videogames, but she convinced me to play it. I was glued!! To conclude, about a week after I got the game, my daughter told me that she wanted to paint her room green! Yoshi hits the mark!
