I have become a connoisseur of gel pens. I love the way these pens flow on the paper. The cheaper gel pens leave spaces. I also like the subtle variety of colors. I like mahogany and navy especially. These are great pens for the price.

Pros: Reasonable price. Smooth, clean lines of gel ink. Comfortable and slim design. Many colors.
Cons: Non-refillable. Only dark colors, except one that's too light. Gel-ink doesn't come out of clothes.

I definitely prefer gel pens to the ball points and roller balls, but there are many bad gel pens out there. I had never heard of Zebra pens when I saw the 10-pen color set of Zebra Sarasa pens at Staples. It was such a deal for the set, plus I got colors, and they had, what appeared to be, a comfortable grip. Never ever regretted the purchase. These pens are fantastic. They write so smooth and clean. My other favorite are Pilot's Dr. Grip gels, but these are expensive compared to the Sarasa gels. My only complaint may be that the colors are all pretty dark, except the orange, which is simply hard to see under my indoor lighting (which I admit, is pretty orangish-yellow).
