Pros: Ergonomics, ergonomics, ergonomics with excellent optics to boot! Cons: Non-symmetrical geometry after folding for storage
I bought a Zeiss Victory 10X25 for my wife. I bought it at Al Sayed Hunting Supply in Dubai for 1175 UAE Dirhams (=US$321). This price is better than any US based retailer that I'm aware of and Al Sayed is an authorized Zeiss dealer that I found at the...

Pros: A real value for the superior optics, compact. Cons: Expect to pay a extra for quality products.
I use my binoculars for field work, often in demanding conditions, and I need lightweight, compact high quality optics. After owning a several pairs of Nikon TraveLite III's, which performed quite adequately, I decided to spring for the binoculars I always admired. If you can afford them, these are definitely worth the extra dollars. A little more awkward to handle, but the optics are far superior. They are a real value for the quality and the lifetime warranty ensures you will be able use them until you lose them. The carrying strap is a bit wimpy, but is probably strong. Nice carrying case though.
