  • Douglas Coupland's Generation X: Not as smarmy as you might think

    Feb 11 '03
Pros: Prophetic, entertaining, self-referential, moving AND fun

Cons: Maybe the big words do get annoying, but I still like them

Summary: Douglas Coupland's first novel is Generation X and in my humble opinion is his best. The story is about three friends Andy, Claire, and Dag. It traces their lives from possible yuppy futures to a lifestyle of McJobs and low intimacy relationships....
