Bill Bryson Shows He CAREs

by mattygroves , Mar 03 '03
Pros: Funny, poignant and all the profits and royalties go to the charity CARE
Cons: Too short

"Just check your insurance before you go."

Bill Bryson's African Diary
by languageman2 ,Jul 20 '05
Pros: Bill Bryson is always great, proceeds go to charity
Cons: Too short
This book, though short, is better than having no Bill at all. His stories are always entertaining, but this account of his trip to Africa tugs at the heart strings as well. Plus, the proceeds go to CARE, so by purchasing it you are helping to make a difference.
