Pros: Brian Wilson performs his Beach Boys' classics and songs from his solo career. Cons: None.
Summary: The Beach Boys scored more than four dozen Hot 100 singles since forming in 1961. Led by primary songwriter and producer Brian Wilson, the band created melodic rock and sweet harmonies that most bands can only dream of.

Pros: The second disc Cons: The first disc
Summary: Last weekend, I had the house to myself, and as I am wont to do under such conditions, I spent most of that time in a state of indecision-induced paralysis. By the time James hops on his plane, my mind is reeling with the possibilities of all the ...

Pros: the lyrics, the overall sound and the memories Cons: the stark contrast to how he use to sound
Summary: The first time I heard this CD I could only think about one thing, that at some point on the CD I would hear the phrase, "It's a Cinderella" story come out of Brian Wilson's mouth.
I hate to admit that track after track I was laughing so...

Pros: The sound of genius at work. Cons: If you hate joyous music you won't like this album.

(ii) Despite Brian's voice...

Pros: Strong vocals, outstanding song variation, excellent instrumentation, live songs you wont hear elsewhere. Cons: Brians voice falters a few times, Pet Sounds isnt performed in its entirety here.
Summary: “There he is!” an audience member jubilantly shouts amid whoops and cheers as Brian Wilson takes the stage.
Then a tape rolls of a 22- or 23-year-old Brian instructing session musicians way back in the early 1960s on how to play “The...

Pros: The Wondermints musicianship is pretty good Cons: Brian's poor vocals, musicianship, and overall embarrasing presence.
Summary: First of all, Brian is basically a guest singer on his own material...and he does not sing very well on this set at all- not on one song! All of his vocals are flat, weak, nasal, and out of tune (particularly on "This Whole World" and "Caroline No")....
