Pros: It's a Kenny Chesney CD with the usual arrangement of songs Cons: It's more of the same...
To say Kenny Chesney’s had an eventful 2005 is an understatement. He started the year by quietly releasing a personal album “Be As You Are: Songs From An Old Blue Chair.” Shortly thereafter, Mr. Chesney became the husband of Oscar winning actress ...
Pros: Chesney keeps mixing it up nicely...some great ballads, some great party songs. Cons: Three songs that I usually skip...In A Small Town, Like Me and Freedom.
I am a huge fan of Kenny Chesney's work. No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems is a great album, and When The Sun Goes Down was even better...it's one of my favorite country albums, period. His exposure has been at an all-time high, for good ...
Pros: A few real good ones, and Kenny sounds at his best Cons: He only wrote 2 of them! The first single doesn't thrill me.
No... no mention of Renee anywhere. I recommend pre-ordering CDs from BestBuy.com. You get it on the Monday before it comes out. I would say The Road and the Radio, the 11th album from country superstar Kenny Chesney, is, in my opinion, his ...
Pros: Variety of songs.
Cons: There are some that most won't like.
Kenny Chesney has another #1 album with this one. He has some great talent and this one is one of the bests. I loved it. It is an album that I can pop into the stereo and play when I'm getting ready in the mornings, when I'm falling asleep, when I'm ...
Pros: It helps you through the rough times. The meaning he puts into the CD. Cons: I don't think there is any Cons on this CD.
I like listening to Kenny Chesney The Road And The Radio published in 2005 by Sony and BMG. Produced by, Buddy Connon and Kenny Chesney. Kenny Chesney has put out a lot of CDs but The Road And The Radio is one of my favorites. I think that when ...
First Kenny Chesney CD I've ever heard by male6 ,Jan 11 '06
Pros: Songs that have true meaning and a story behind them. Cons: None that I can speak of, I like this CD
I don't know much about this artist, but a friend of mine has this CD and insisted I listen to it on an hour long drive we were on. Not real crazy about country as a genre but I do like some artists such as Tanya Tucker, Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn.
I must admit that it's a pretty good CD. I won't go into detail about all the songs but for some reason the one that stood out in my mind was Somebody Take Me Home. I can relate to that song as it shows the inner conflict and lonliness we all feel at times in our lives.
Kenny Chesney is on the radio... Too Much by moovie_guy93 ,May 26 '09
Pros: Good songs are great Same old Chesney Cons: WAY overplayed Same old Chesney VERY hit and miss Bonus songs not needed
After the huge success of both No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem and When the Sun Goes Down, it's no surpirse this CD sold very well. However, unlike most CD's that are released after hits, this CD holds up to the other CD's. With the first five songs all being singles (and very good as well), it's easy to think that the rest of the CD stinks. This is also not true. "In a Small Town" and "Freedom" are both very well sung and are great songs. Overall, even though six of the fifteen songs were single, this CD is a winner.
Even though the first eight are great, traditional Chesney, the last seven are terrible. They fall into the country music cliche trap, meaning there are songs about drinking, about "the girl", and about a dog. They are OK songs, but if I want to here cliche Chesney, I'll go back to '90s.
Overall, this CD is a winner. With just over half of the songs acceptable, you would think this CD would be a flop. However, some of these songs ("The Road and the Radio", "You Save Me") are phenomal, award-worthy songs. I would say buy this CD.
