  • Finally an album that actually IS heavier and rawer then the previous!

    Apr 26 '04
Pros: Rawer, Heavier, different. Vocals are better this time round too!
Cons: A few dud tracks, Play me especially. Childish, pretentious lyrics.

Summary: INTRO: Its an old Nu metal cliché now, Whenever a bands new album is being written its always going to be 'our heaviest album yet', or 'Totally raw and non commercial'. Of course 9 times out of 10 this is rubbish, the album ends up being softer, more ...

  • A change in direction for Korn

    Apr 23 '04
    Pros: Many good tracks
Cons: ...Ya'll want a single... I can swear too ya know?

Summary: I must say that I was very impressed with this album, after six albums they still sound as fresh as they did in 1994. I first heard "Did my Time" in September of 2003, I liked it, but I was afraid that they were finally starting to lose steam. There ...

  • KoRn's Hardest Hitting Album since their Self-Titled.

    Mar 26 '04
Pros: Their hardest hitting album since self-titled, cool extra DVD that came with it.
Cons: Too short, the buzzing noise on 'Here It Comes Again' (read review)

Summary: KoRn's 6th and latest album "Take a Look in The Mirror" Is their hardest, heaviest rock album since their debut title. This might be a to big of a change for those fans of "Issues" or "Untouchables", but for us oldies who remember the good ole' days of ...

  • Better than untouchables

    Dec 30 '03
Pros: korn is back, Y'all want a single.
Cons: a couple of boring songs, and i want something to remind me of twist

Summary: Well as I said this CD is better than untouchables, but thats not sayin much. Korns' 6th major attempt has my permission to be played alongside their debut, Life is Peachy and Follow the Leader. Which are the only korn albums worth listening to. It ...

  • Let me explain...

    Nov 28 '03
Pros: Insightful in it's own progression in Korn's career.
Cons: Close-minded music fans that don't know good music when they hear it.

Summary: Take A Look In The Mirror is exactly what Korn and their fans have wanted since LIP. What can I say? The whole album is beautifully crafted through-out the whole album. I won't explain each song of my P.O.V., like the previous reviewer, but each song I ...

  • take a look in this mirror

    May 03 '04
Pros: buy this album you wont regret it.
    Cons: none

Summary: when i first heard the song "right now" i had to get the album. It has awesome riffs. Fieldy is the best bass player. the whole cd is amazing. The songs have great lyrics. i dont really like rap but the song "play me" on this album makes rap

  • Yeah the cool Korn is back

    Apr 21 '04
Pros: Great guitars, vocals, lyrics, and flow
Cons: Almost like the early CDs but didnt quite make it

Summary: This is a really well put together CD. It reverts back to Korn's earlier days when they were a really heavy hitting hardcore band. I feel that this CD attempted to be a lot like their earlier CDs (Korn and Life is Peachy) but it didn't quite make it.

  • 2nd best CD they have done

    Apr 19 '04
Pros: Great cd, love the fact that bagpipes are back. It's what makes them KORN.
Cons: Wish they would touch more on their past, like the self-titled.

Summary: Just like the other reviews, i will repeat it. This IS their best CD since their self-titled. I truely believe that they will never beat that CD. But this one comes very close. If you are a hard-core korn fan, chances are you already have this cd. If you

  • Korn's most creative album other than Issues

    Dec 30 '03
Pros: Very very creative and extremely good lyrics.
Cons: Doesn't include lyrics with the C.D.

Summary: This album is one of the best I've heard from Korn in a long long time. If you liked any of their other c.d.'s, then you'd love this one. If you've never heard any Korn, but love metal and/or punk, this album is definitely one for you. The bassist,
